Established in 2014 to fill the lack of quality, training, and customer service observed within the handyman, remodeling, and construction trades at the time, our goal is to bring the handyman service into a reputable field, where it can be properly acknowledged as a legitimate trade! We strive to accomplish this mission daily by our commitment to excellence in every aspect of the business. We uphold a standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty, and personal responsibility. The moment I'm called into a home, my customers have finally had enough of their lingering issues. When I can promptly resolve those issues, the smile received is rewarding! Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial visit (if more than a quick or minor repair) is used to gain information about desired outcome, likes, dislikes & general information that can be used for the design process. From there we send it to our team of designers (for larger projects) who create 3 designs for the customer to choose from. Occasionally, this does go back to the drawing board, and that is fine. From this point we begin the estimation process. When the estimate is approved, we collect a down payment to secure any scheduled dates, and approve and estimated start and complete date. Once the customer is happy, not on job completion but, happiness with the overall project, we collect the final payment and with permission, post completed results on social media for bragging rights!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have personally been through several training courses, holding degrees in the HVAC field, Hydronics Field, and several other recognized courses in the industry. I even personally hold an Association of Certified Handyman Professionals. It may not be me that you are concerned about though, as it is our crew that will be actually completing the scope. In that respect, we require and reward additional education within our company believing that a highly trained professional is what we would expect in our homes!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We do have a flat rate pricing book for immediate pricing for the minor repairs, like appliance replacement, garbage disposal repair and many other things. With that being said, we have designed that pricing book based off of RS Means industry standard time tables and our hourly rate of $85/hour.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have had the pleasure of dealing with several types of customers, some naturally more difficult than others but, in the end I can say that we tend to only deal with happy customers, and our reviews all over the web would prove that!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would say do your homework and dont just hire the least expensive guy. The old addage "you get what you pay for" definitely rings true in the world of Handymen. With us, you know what and who to expect, and we gurantee he or she really knows their stuff!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I would ask for reviews, there is no more telling story than the unfiltered reviews on google, bbb and otherwise. No one review site is devoid of negative reviews but, a general concensous would do you more good than harm. I would also recommending asking abilities and make sure their experience matches your needs.
