Here's our story: After working for one of the largest painting companies in the country, a few of us started doing side work on the weekends. A year later, we had enough referral work to start a business and Homestar Painting was born. When you work with us, expect a detailed and thorough estimate, high quality products, a well-managed crew and clear communication throughout the project. Here are a few things that set us apart: 1. We're efficient - We use modern technology to streamline work processes, provide professional painting estimates and continuously improve your experience. 2. We're customer-centric - We believe our customer are our partners and we take care of you home as if it were our own. 3. We're sticklers for quality - We want your paint job to last - so we use high quality products, follow proven processes and don't cut corners. 4. We're charitable - We help out in the local community to give back Our Process 1. Estimate: we write out a detailed estimate for your review. 2. Schedule a Date: upon approval - we will schedule a time to start work. 3. Doing the Job: prep -> mask -> paint -> cleanup 4. Follow Up Survey: We want to know how we did and what we could do better so we will send you a survey after the job for your feedback. All-Inclusive Warranty Info Our warranty covers more than most companies. Here are some things our warranty covers that other companies do not: Cost of materials Cost of labor Wood Windows Horizontal Surfaces (where snow builds up) Where the siding meets the roofline Bottom 3 Siding Boards of the House (where sprinklers may hit?) Fading Caulking cracks (when houses shift, crack will appear. We warranty this.) Give us a call, you’ll be glad you did :)
I love seeing the transformation when the job is finished as it's a testament to all of our hard work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you first work with us, we will ask you a few questions so we can better understand the project and better prepare for an estimate.
From there, we will schedule an at-home consultation and provide you with a detailed estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each of our teams has a dedicated foreman who has at least 5+ years experience painting homes and each of our workers has at least 2 years experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is customized to every customer depending on your needs and the amount of work needed to properly complete the job. When you reach out to us, we will schedule a time to evaluate the work needed and provide you with a detailed estimate that has the breakdown of labor, materials, colors and timeline.
How did you get started in this business?
After working for one of the largest painting companies in the country, I decided to start taking on side work. Since then, our business has grown from referrals and continues to grow. What I love most about this type of work is seeing the end result. It still amazes me how much a little bit of paint can have such a huge difference on the overall look and feel of your home.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We typically work on mid-size to large homes. We also take on small projects as well.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When your getting quotes, your going to get very different estimates across the board. For example, I can write a $3,000 all the way to $5,000 estimate for the same job. We like to provide you with multiple options and explain the differences of each option - and the best advice I can give you, is go with the contractor you have the most trust in.
