KN Construction
About
Kn Construction has only been in business since 2019, however prior to 2019. There was an old band of experienced contractors that were tired of jumping place to place. So Kn Construction was born with a new California state contractors license. With this, Kn Construction hopes to grow and share their passion with future clients.
KN Construction is a fully licensed general construction company that is looking to service the Los angeles & Orange county areas. Our core strengths are working with the cloud. We provide a cloud service that allows property owners to monitor their project daily to do lists, schedules, road maps, pictures, and video logs. We also allow our clients to pay from the comfort of their homes, save time and money for both parties. Our strength trades arenew home constructions, home remodels, home additions and fire restoration projects. Within those jobs we do everything from foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical to full kitchen & restroom remodels.
I enjoy the people that dedicate themselves to construction. From driving in nails day after day to making sure an entire project is running smoothly. It is the dedication of these men and women that drives KN Construction. As CEO, it makes be proud to be able to stand next to those who dedicate themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will send out a rough estimate sheet to the client. We then schedule a free estimate to really get a good feel and look at the jobsite. We will then finalize the prices and walk the client through the steps that we're going to be taking.
A contract will be given to the client to sign. Once signed and agreed the client will have 48 hours to cancel. Once the 48 hours are up, my men and I will begin the construction process and a link will be given to the client. The link is to a cloud service that KN Construction offers. There the client can monitor everything. My Supervisors will upload pictures and update the task schedule daily or hourly if needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are 100% licensed by the CSLB (Contractor state license board) in California. License number upon request if needed. State Licensed classification: General B
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We might charge a little more than others, only because we care about the quality of the craftmanship is being put into the projects. Therefore we have to hire better craftmen that has been in the industry for 10+ years and apprentices that are learning under these professionals.
How did you get started in this business?
I started working ever since highschool. In 2019, I decided I wanted to build something that would leave a small foot print behind when I pass, so I chose construction to literally build a lasting legacy.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with mainly residential clients. We want to break into the commercial market very soon. Then we'll be able to jugle both at the sametime.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Rule number 1: Always, always ask for a contractor license. Make sure to put it in your hands and take down the number. Make sure the classification matches the work.
Rule number 2: Make sure to look on the CSLB website to make sure the license is still active. We are required to renew our license every 2 years only if we are "in good standing" with the states.
Rule number 3: Always be opened minded when working with contractors. These guys have 10 year of experience.
Rule number 4: Try to build a relationship with the contractor. That way your next project will be cheaper, and more accommodations are willing to happen. Not only that, it saves time and money in the long run.
Rule Number 5: if something happens between the contractor and owner. Try to work it out. Legal fees are no joke and worst of all. No one ever wins in the end. Only the lawyers.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Things to ask a Contractor/ Think about:
Measure how much space it's going to require, so you have a general idea of what to say to the contractor. This helps us estimate in our heads before seeing the sight.
Unfortunately, services aren't like amazon.
There isn't a product price to anything. Service based business are situational based. Not everyone has the same home, layout, or infrastructure.
So when a contractor is giving a pricing, always remember to inflate the numbers. My rule of thumb is to always keep an extra $20,000 in your pocket, because once we go into a wall, cieling, or florring. We just don't know what we're going to find and it will cost more just to resolve the issue the right way.
Don't be afraid to ask respectable questions to the contractor. Like, How long do you think it'll take for this section to be completed? Or What do you think we should do?
Just remember, there are bad apples out there, but not all of us are bad apples.
