Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can come to the customer, or they can come to me. I do not have conventional "business hours", everything is done by appointment. People can call or text my mobile phone (310-266-9827) for immediate help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associates' degree in LAN Technologies (computer networking) and 20 years of experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It really depends on what the need is. But I can promise two things, as far as pricing goes: that you will always know how much it's going to cost upfront, and that my rates are very competitive.
How did you get started in this business?
I actually didn't start studying computers until I turned 30, but I've always been a natural puzzle solver, and that's what makes me a good troubleshooter. I love a challenge!
What types of customers have you worked with?
You name it! Old and young, from school-aged kids to senior citizens. And wherever you are on the learning curve, I can meet you there.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Give them as many details as you can, but if you're in over your head, just say it. A good computer repair person will not get frustrated if you just say "I don't know, it's not working".
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Know how much you're prepared to spend, and don't let a professional push you to spend more than you are able to. Ask questions. And when it comes to computer repair, remember that there are plenty of people out there offering this service; if you're not comfortable with what you're getting from one professional, get a second opinion.
