What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with building a relationship by having a phone conversation about their project so they can advise us what is most important to them about their project and we can help them determine their budget for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 35 combined years experience building homes from the ground up. Our team consists of contractors from Construction world and Landscaping world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We do flat rate on all of our service calls because not all technicians work at the same speed and we want to maintain integrity with our clients giving them a guaranteed price.
How did you get started in this business?
I was raised around doing construction and handyman projects. My first experience was with my grandpa and stepfather building onto our home when I was 11 years old. I enjoyed it so much that I then worked with my other family members to do construction. I then became a licensed contractor in AZ when I was in my 20's. Began to build homes from the ground up.... When I moved to Orange County In 2014 I began to do Handyman work here in California. Looking forward to many more years of construction and serving people.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of clients.. from people who just need a few odd jobs done around their home to people who have full kitchen remodels. We also have a huge variety of clients that are really well known like Master Chef and Celebrity, Curtis Stone. Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Donation days because for every $100 in revenue, $10.00 goes to helping the widows and elderly or any people in need in our area, and for every 10 hours each of our team members work, we each donate 1 hour of time to them as well.
So every other Friday we give back 8hrs. to people in need. People like Sandy who is a Widow who was a stay at home mother, her husband was self employed and the sole bread winner. He was diagnosed with cancer and given 6 months to live.... he actually passed in 2 months and Sandy had a mortgage on her home. Thankfully 2 of her children moved back home to help pay the mortgage because at age 54 it makes it difficult to start a career. We heard about Sandy from a referral and we decided to help her by painting her bathroom and reinforcing the kitchen floor and then installing a new tile floor.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Consider your scope of work and what is most important to you about your project. Is it getting it done fast and with excellence or are you looking for that lowest price and maybe not such good quality work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What time is involved in doing my project? What issues may come up if I don't have this project completed by a professional? Most people think projects are simple and easy and anyone can do it.... Unfortunately this usually leads to higher costs and more time when professional has to come in and fix what someone else has done.
