About
Its convenient for the user with the computer problem. We talk on the phone with me logged remotely into their system. then if continuous work is required they can do other things while whatever scan or fix is in-process.
And now with Covid isolation, it is THE way to provide technical support.
I have always enjoyed working with computers. Starting with core memories many years ago and then minicomputers from DEC and Data General. Moving to the IBM PC in 1980 was very exciting and now both Apple and PCs are greatly challenging and interesting. I am even working with the Raspberry PI as a Linux learning experience.
