What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer brings me their computer and $75. No Monitors or Keyboards. I put the computer on my bench and run bios and Operating system diagnostics. This will usually result in the problem revealing itself. Then I give the customer a written estimate to repair. I will usually credit the $75 towards repairs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Systems. I have worked in the computer field since 1980.

$75 - initial visit
$75/hr repair work in excess of the first hour. This will be itemized and agreed on in the repair order.

I have been fixing personal computers for companies and friends for the last 30 years.

If someone offers a free evaluation run the other way.
