I enjoy taking something old and trasforming it to some new looking.  I love to follow proper surface prep with correctly applied top coats.  It's a great feeling when returning to a project that was painted 6-10 years ago and it still looks freshly painted.  I enjoy helping people and with quality craftsmanship I can provide peace of mind.  Performing all the necssary steps and following best coating practices I give myself peace of mind as well. The relationship built with my clients will outlast any paint job!

we had the interior of our new home painted by Adix. Steven is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful with paint selection and finishes. their work is impeccable and their estimates are dependable. the work was done timely and updates were on a regular basis. I believe Adix could take on any job of any size and difficulty. I would recommend Adix to anyone that wants high quality workmanship and fair pricing.

We have used Adix painting for many years, and are always eager to recommend their services. They have done everything from painting outside lattice work over our basement patio area to many indoor jobs for my family. I find them to be good at what they do and always neat, tidy , and professional.

I only use services that are bonded, licensed and insured. Adix Painting meet my first requirement. I only recommend a company if the work is excellent. Adix Painting meet that requirement. I have recommended them to others and specifically hired them for our HOA. Adix performance in the areas of being on time, work completed as agreed, clean up and going beyond the mundane were considered excellent. In every profession- there is the science, the skill and the art that profession. Adix is truly an artist combining the practical with the esthetic to provide a quality product.

I am extremely satisfied with the work conducted at my 1969 home by Adix Painting. After interviewing several contractors and receiving bids to address issues with the front of my home, I chose Adix Painting over the other contractors because Mr. Adickes clearly understood the issues with my home and had the experience and expertise working with the materials necessary to complete the work. The front of my home is south-facing (meaning extreme exposure to the sun and elements), with stucco-covered block walls and architectural features, accented with lots of wood features. This was definitely more of a restoration project than simple maintenance, even though I had painted the home only about five years ago. "Bubbling" stucco needed repair; much of the wood features were rotting from age, sun, and water; the carport cabinets and hardware were aged and deteriorating; the entire surfaces needed painting. Mr. Adickes completed the project in a professional manner, he was very dependable, provided ongoing time and materials summaries to track the work and budget, and used quality materials. At the end of each work day, he cleaned the area before he left (even vacuming up paint and wood chips!), he protected the work with covers where necessary, and was friendly to my admiring neighbors. The front of my home is now beautiful, and I am certain this restoration will last a decade or more. I have more work planned at my home for Adix Painting, and I sincerely recommend Adix Painting for your project.

20 years of painting new and old surfaces. Prior military were attention to detail was nessary.  11 years of teaching Physical Education and coaching.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Daily price for a craftsman and all the necessary tools to complete interior and exterior painting.  No repaint or new project can be set by a square foot price.  Paintable surfaces have to be calculated and then the number of times the surfaces need to be cleaned, sanded, primed and number of top coats applied.  Total number of man hours or man days have to be calculated.

How did you get started in this business?

Was painting part time in Sun City while teaching in the Peoria school district and crossed over to painting full time because it was more rewarding.  I also  teach best painting practices while working side by side with home owners that would like to be coached through a proffesinal painting project.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked for all ages and from all career fields.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Returning to a property I helped remodel back in 2011 and completed some wood restoration on exterior and put a fresh coat of paint on interior to help home owner ready home for the market.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

A quality paint job that adds value is going to cost more than the next painter that is only going to put in just enough effort and paint on to satitsfy the ROC's 2 year requirement.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

What are their long term goals and current expectations in requards to their home. They need a set budget that they should discuss openly.   Maybe project has to be completed in phases so quality is not compromissed.
