Rainbow Computer Services
About
Computers have been a lifelong passion of mine and it is that passion that drives me to go the extra mile for every customer, and all for a price hundreds less than the competition. My motto is, and always has been, "More byte for the buck", and it's a motto I live by.
It has always brought me personal joy to see a customer's face light up when their computer actually does more than it did when they first bought it, because of that "extra mile" that makes cure their computer will do all that it is capably of doing. A well-performing computer is a tool for the customer to use as they need and wish - whereas a poorly performing one makes the customer an unwilling servant.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I read the description of the customer's issue as they have described it. I then inform them of what the potential issue or issues could be, and what it the best approach to resolve their issues. I then give them the cost estimate of the different reolution options availabe, so that they may decide which is the best or most affordable approach.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A+ certification in Windows software and hardware. I operated my own pc repair business in Maine for several years, and have several personal and commercial references attesting to the quality of work performed.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The most common service I've offered is a system rebuild rthat entails backing up a customer's files onto an external drive, then wiping the customers hard drive and reinstalling their OS along with any software they may have. I also install all Windows updates and optimize Windows for maximum performance. I then restore the customers files and optimize the entire drive (defrag). The approach may seem simplistic (and overkill to some), but tima dn again I have found it to be the quickest and most cost-effective solution to the issues a customer's system is having. I usually charge 110-140 dollars for this service, depending on the volume of persoanl files and customer software that needs to be restored.
