Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When requests for jobs come in I will normally give a ballpark estimate based on the information provided. Although, it is always best to see the areas involved to get a better understanding and scope of the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked on multiple rental and personal properties over the years. I do attend trade shows for the latest products and developments. I have recently gotten home inspection licensing valid thru 12/20.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I bid jobs by the project and sometimes hourly depending on what needs to be completed.
How did you get started in this business?
I have been doing home projects and remodeling over the last 20 years with my own properties, then rentals and client properties. I have been in this business since 2014. I work with a handful of real estates agents in prepping houses to sell on the market or those with recent purchases.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All varieties of customers have had services completed. Currently, I have Top Pro status with Thumbtack which only 3% of contractors can achieve. I understand all customer needs and the goal is to provide a great product and service. I am adding this site as other means of advertising.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I painted and did various repairs on a property that was getting ready to sell. I even helped the customer with items that would be flagged on a home inspection. After completion, the property had full price offer after the 1st showing.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are reputable and have great reviews. Licensing and insurance are important as well for both parties.
