What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call and later a short meeting. At that time I can address concerns and quote a ballpark price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
More than 30 years hands on remodeling and building.
How did you get started in this business?
I was always good with my hands. After just a few years in business I built my own home in New Berlin.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with people from all walks of life. Young and old that requested a custom kitchen to a custom 4000 sq ft house.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
Added a 2nd story to the back half of a home and customer remarked "It looks better than I ever hoped"
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask if the price and schedule is firm. Additions and changes shouldn't be outrageous.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Are you prepared to "work" on your responsibilities in choosing materials and colors. From lights and flooring to siding and shingles.... a lot of time goes into the details of the project
