What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A sit down meeting with them to truly understand what they are trying to accomplish, a budget that is fair, find options if possible to fit their unique needs, and put together a workable bid and time line.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a licensed contractor, hold an additional journeyman in building maintenance, have OSHA 10 training. With 19 years of experience in the trades.

Yes, my standard rate is $27.50 an hour, which I do use to calculate a professional bid.
How did you get started in this business?
I have worked as an apprentice or Carpenter since high school, was given the opportunity to go back to school and abtaining a degree in building maintenance. I have a true passion for what I do, which I hope is evident in my work, local references, and level of professionalism.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers; residential, commercial, big bugets, little budgets, young and old, banks, ects...
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
A couple called me wanting to update their house in order to sell it, we moved cabinets to better fit the floor plan, new countertops throughout, two full bathroom renovations, new laminate, marble, and slate flooring, and addressed any of those little things that add up on your to do list. The outcome, when I left they informed me that they are thinking about keeping there house.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at portfolio, ask questions, and references, references, references....
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
That if applicable (both) people want the same thing, budget, and what you want final outcome to be.
