Hello I am Don Vandervort and I have been doing interior finish work for the past 40 years. I work for builders as well as the home owners direct. I take a lot of pride in my work and love what I do. I have many local references and would be happy to meet with you and supply many pictures of the past projects that I have completed.
Each project is unique and different in every way. I have a wide scope of work that I have done including just a few: handrials - mantles - crown molding - wainscoting - building entertainment centers - cabinets and installs so a very wide range of work and I love every minute of doing what I do. I put a lot of hours in to make sure that I have my project done when I tell the customer that I will complete the job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I meed with the homeowner and go over what they need built. I then design what it is they need and supply them with a picture that shows what the project will look like. Then its time to come up with a price for the project which usually includes the price of my labor and the cost of the material to do the job. From there it is getting the ok from the home owner and setting a start date and away we go. I am licensed - insured and bonded for the Washington area only not in Oregon.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well my training has been the past 40 years doing interior finish work in the Vancouver area. I have worked with builders and homeowners building all kinds of mantles - columns - handrails - entertainment centers if it has anything to do with wood I have done it and proud to say in those 40 years I have never started a job that I did not finish.
