The Door Works

The Door Works specializes in Mobile Service for the Repair and Replacement of Residential Garage Doors and Garage Door Openers.

We have been in business for over 28 years providing service to thousands of satisfied customers.

We believe the best way to maintain our leadership in business is to treat our customers and employees honestly and fairly, just like we want to be treated by those we do business with.

We began in 1985 with Laren Robinson and Rodney Schvaneveldt forming a partnership in the Salt Lake City market. They combined several years of experience in the Garage Door business with a sales and marketing background to form the new company, The Door Works.

The company was incorporated in 1988 and expanded into the greater Seattle area in 1990 and moved a few years later into the Portland/Vancouver area.

Laren and Rod enjoyed the Northwest so much they moved their families and the company operations to the Seattle area.
