About
We pride ourselves on being reliable, honest and able to get projects done in a timely manor. In other words, we won't tear off your roof and come back 6 weeks later like the other guys.we pay our workers well so they actually want to show up. As the owner of MGC I have 20 years construction experience and have worked all over the United States and in multiple trades both commercial and residential
We enjoy making peoples life's better. If it's taking on a project someone doesn't have time for or they just don't know how or maybe they want a professional to come in and take care of their project needs.
We love adding value to our community and making a positive influence through quality work and by employing community members.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to start off with getting to know a customer and what their needs are in our capacity.
then we like to have them send any information of what they want or have. Including pictures of the existing project area, any bids or consultations they have already had, if they'd like to get a permit or need one or want us to, (If required) and then we like to set up an estimate(free for price estimates)(handy man work is hourly and we can give approximate estimations but could very dependent on project variables
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Osha 30 training
union sheet metal apprenticeship (7 years experience)
A CLASS CDL
8 years comerxial and residential roofing
5 years general construction and remodel work including equipment operating
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Typically projects cost around 2.5 times the cost of the materials but that's just a guid we use and can vary baesd on projects. We like to operate by price per square foot when possible
How did you get started in this business?
We kept hearing horrible stories of people having to wait months for contractors to show up and of contractors starting a project then never coming back and how some contractors were just not skilled in the trades they were doing. We even had to deal with some contractors who took on work for us who had never done that work before and charged professional prices.
we decided we want to be a positive impact on the community we live in and want to restore the value of hiring a professional. If we don't do the work we vet and find some one who can professionally. We strive for customer satisfaction but ultimately we do what we agree per contract and sometimes we can't make everyone happy but we do our best. And at the minimum we do what our contract says.
often times we toss in free services for a kind client.
for example one client hired us to wash their siding. Their gutters looked full and sad . We washed out their gutters for free and they hired us to do their roof too
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Have pictures of what you want, realize everyone has different overhead and different experience and different standards.
do some research on what you want done and always add 30 percent to the price of what you think it would cost if you haven't had it done before.
even as a professional, we don't always think of everything that goes into a project, we are all human.
ultimately, if the salesman doesn't have actual work experience in the field don't bother with that company.
Don't get pressured into signing a document that day.
if the pressure you then the company is desperate and won't give you their best quality, especially if you haggle them down. Find a company that has good values and respects your boundaries. If your child has a nap time and they hassle you about an appointment, lose their number.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What do you think the ball park price of the project would cost
are the materials out of stock or back ordered
Are you looking to have a replacement or repair
is the project small or large
what's my availability
will it cost more to have it done sooner
do you need a permit
have you reached out to multiple contractors yet
does you project include an insurance claim
how will you pay for the project
Is the project weather dependent and is it the best season for it
what are some options You'd like to consider product wise, do you want quality or cheap products
is the project personal or a rental or other use you do or don't want to invest more expensive materials into.
