About

Archie Remodeling LLC is a veteran owned general contractor remodeling company that is backed by over 10 years of tradesman experience. We truly believe in our mission statement and because of the size of our company we hold ourselves to a higher standard. We aim to give you a long lasting and handcrafted product at a competitive price, which large contractors are not always capable of delivering due to their large overhead. While keeping safety top of mind, we promise to push as hard as our mascot and founder “Archie the dog” who will never stop playing fetch no matter what’s in front of him. We are also two happy pet owners who will be donating a percentage of our profits each year towards animal rescue organizations in the area.

Who doesn't love the bringing someone else's vision to fruition. We enjoy the unpredictablility and problem solving that come with remodeling and creating something that brings joy to a family for years to come.

Frequently asked questions

Our first step with a new clients is to listen and begin to document every detail of the client's vision.  We then perform a job walk with Covid-19 personal pertection equipment to document square footage and perform a rough estimate onsite to verfiy we are within our client's budgetary numbers. We have found Homeguide's estimates on remodeling to be an excellent resource in determining our final estimate costs.  We are a very small general contractor and prefer to maintian a minimal staff for overhead, communication, and Covid-19 safety purposes.  There is one point of contact performing the majority of the work so our focus remains entirely on your needs.

I have an abundance of skills, training, and education to assist our clients in their remodeling needs.  I have spent half my working life in the hospitality industry in Las Vegas where I provided five diamond service to high end guests, celebrities and royalty at the Bellagio. During my time in hospitality I was trained in the importance of cleanlyness, hardwork, networking, marketing, and consistancy. All the things you would expect while typically charging a small fortune.  I then began a 3 year stent in welding, plumbing, and pipefitting working for Powerplants and Refineries.  I attended trade school for nondestructive testing and hold certifications in advanced ultrasonics, ground penetrating radar, radiography, magnetic particle and liquid prenetrant.  I was also a radiation safety officer with multiple audits from the state of washington with no findings. I also performed the new inpections on Tesoro refinery's new unit, post its prior explosion in Anacortes.  I have  been a safety coordinator/shop supervisor for a large construction company until finally opening my own business while I attended Skagit College for Computer Science.  During that time I discovered my love for being a general contractor and added a business partner to help with momentum on projects.

Archie Remodeling LLC has found that Homeguide's pricing system on their website to be an accurate and excellent resource for future standard projects. We leverage these tools for estimates, pricing out more granularly with local material supplies and applicable delivery costs for actual bids, creating a "not to exceeed" amount.

During my time at Skagit College I opened a handyman company to help suppliment income while I attended school. Even though I'm capable of the permenant deskjob, I enjoy the outdoors, unpredicabilly, physical demand, and customer interaction that being a general contactor offer. My busiiness partner and I officially started Archie Remodeling LLC in March of 2020.

While we are a fairly new construction company, in our past professional experiences we have worked with all types of customers from refineries, powerplants, to the average home owners drywall job, or a complete two hundred thousand dollar basement remodel.

I am fond of all me past jobs and this is particually important because I did a subsantial amount of work in my own neighborhood. I have performed work for 8 different residents in my neighborhood as well as showcased my own personal home remodel projects. It gives me great pride when residents feel happy with the outcome and business relationship.

Always check to make sure your new remodeling company is complient with all Covid-19 state regulations. Your health is more important than a new bathroom.  Always check the company's background and any pending lawsuits.  Ask your contractor who's actually performing the work on your remodel and their capabilities and past work accomplishements.

First and formost, are you Covid-19 complient?  Will the requested area of remodel need extra social distancing requirement?

Additionally, understand that the job may evolve. Every request will have a trickle down effect on your property. We will work to consult you on the big picture and ensure that expectations are clear.
