What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to gather all of information we need to provide the customer with the most accurate quote. All it takes is a few questions that can be answered on our app, website, or over the phone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our founders have over 40 years combined logistics and customer service experience. All of our drivers are licensed, vetted, background screened, and professional movers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, we have done a lot of work to make our pricing as simple as possible. We only charge by the piece and not for distance or time. The first flight of stairs is included and we have a couple of other smaller charges like 2nd flight of stairs or charges for items that require more than two men to carry. As long as you are within our service area our flat pricing will make you very happy.
How did you get started in this business?
Our CEO has been revolutionizing the home delivery business for the last 20 years. He had the vision to create an easy to use on-demand delivery company. Hence PockitShip was born. His vision was to provide the fastest and best possible customer experience possible when it comes to moving your items whether in your home or across town.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types including homeowners, renters, small offices, law firms, small and large national retailers, realtors, assisted living homes, auctioneers, and even Universities. Our platform allows us to move just about anything for anyone.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently we were asked to move a non-profit from their offices at the last minute. We came in with 48 hours and moved their 7 employees smoothly and easily and saved them 25% on their moving expenses. They were so happy that not only did we save them money but also we provided them with a hassle free moving experience.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are hiring only trained professionals with the proper skills and insurance.
