Mount Vernon Pest Control is a small family owned business providing all types of pest control service in the Northern Virginia area. Shawn Zannino is the owner operator and has 26 years experience in residential commercial termite bedbug and mosquito control. Mount Vernon Pest Control strives to provide resonable fair prices and safe solutions for our customers. MVPC is not like bigger companies, I care obout my customers and their homes or businesses and their property. MVPC does not try and hard sell you. Honesty integrity is the only way we operate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on their situation. I do an inspection and find out the what when where and why of their pest problem. Then I will determine a resonable and safe plan to solve the problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High school. Army for 4 years, construction, started out working for Western Pest Control as a commercial technician in 1995 worked for Hughes Pest Control - Commercial Residential and termite technician, Triple S - Commercial Residential and Termite Tech. and Sears/ Home Paramount commercial Residential and Termite Tech. Then worked for Noble Pest Managment as a Commercial Residential and Termite Technician and Service Manager for 13 years. I was responsible for hiring training of new technicians and quality control. Started Mount Vernon Pest Control in 2010.

Pricing varies and is based on the type of pest problems, time, size of the home or building etc. I try and give the most reasonable prices that are fair to both parties.
How did you get started in this business?
My brother in law got me an interview at Western Pest Control.
