Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to vist the location or use Google Map to get an idea of the size. Also speak with them about any siding, decking, fence, or other items to clean.
This allows us to provide the lowest price. We don't assume it is large size or major green or black siding to provide a higher price and find out it is smaller or minor cleaning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have seen a lot of different situations and tried various cleaning solutions. The siding solution is our own recipe with 3 liquids and use a soft wash to avoid damage.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We start at $80. for residential concrete surfaces and $75 for 1 story side. Pricing is based on what the client wants cleaned.
How did you get started in this business?
Worked in the Corp world and did part time handyman work for numerous years as a Plan B (if get laid off). Now I'm full time pressure washing.
I met Joe with Can Do Pressure Washing in 2018 and became a partner to grow the business. We are now doing some commercial jobs becasue of the quality equipment we have.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly residential and a couple restuarants. We are bidding on some large commercial jobs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A client had a very black driveway and in a couple hours she came out but went back in to get her sunglasses it was so bright.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Avoid if they talk about removing "mildew" beacuse it never grows on a structure - only on plants. Our area is mostly mold and algae.
Also if they use a wand to go back and forth to clean the concrete. Our equipment is so powerful we use a disk surface cleaning machine that is 30" wide. Far faster and better quality.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Many of our clients get a HOA letter telling them to clean the siding and driveway.
The big question is do they want a professional company with commercial equipment or a "Chuck in a truck" with home owner equipment.
Our pricing is fair, but quality is great.
