Dye Development, Inc. was founded in July 2002, by David W. Dye III. I am licensed in Texas as a Registered professional Land Surveyor and Professional Engineer (civil). Dye Development, Inc. performs a wide variety of land surveying and civil land development design services in San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin and the surrounding counties. I work out of my home so my overhead is low, and two of my sons are my survey field crew. The advantages in using my firm is simple – the client always has the most experienced person working on their project, and as I am the owner I am also 100% vested in customer service and satisfaction. I do not contract out any of my work. I am also a land developer, so when I perform a design I think like an owner, not just a designer. I am cost conscious of what I am designing, and always strive not provide the most efficient design that I can.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them what their needs are then perform the necessary research to determine the exact services that are required. I then provide a fee for those services. If we are hired I get the job scheduled for the field work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. I am licensed in Texas as a Professional Engineer (TBPE: F-9539) and a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (TBPLS: #10092200).
