Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gathering data regarding the specific need for service/repairs, scheduling call and making sure the customer does not need to waste anytime waiting on us to arrive. If we are given a cell #, we allow our customers to go about their busy day, and we will call their cell and give them time to get back home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our plumbers are licensed by the State of Texas and must take classes every year in order for their licensing to be renewed.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We work by the hour and have NO hidden fees (i.e., truck fee, dispatch fee, etc.)
How did you get started in this business?
In 1987 we started Class Plumbing, just my wife and I and have since them grown it into a very reputable business. 90% of our customers are either repeat or customer referrals.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential and commercial, including nonprofit.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
Every project that we walk away with a happy customer who has been very well taken care of and their needs have been met!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they follow city codes, which means they do and will pull permits for city inspectors to come and and inspect the quality of the work performed (not ALL repair jobs require a permit to be pull, each city makes those decisions, but when a city requires that a permit be pulled, there is a reason the city is requesting it and it is primarily being asked in order to protect the citizen!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is there anything else that is in need of repairs while the plumber is there. You get a better bang for your buck when you combine repairs that normally only one repair would not take a plumber an entire hour to complete.
