Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts me an gives an overview of what they're needing. We set an appointment for me to come to their house or business for them to show me or describe to me what it is they want done. I then get all necessary measurements and put together an estimate for the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in fencing or related fields for over a decade. I'm a proud member of The American Fence Association and have attended AFA University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For installation, and pressure washing and staining, I charge by the foot.
Gates and repairs are on a case by case basis
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in fencing working for a roofing company that also served as a g.c. With a lot of our storm claims, there was fence damage as well. I found that very few of the sub-contractors we used did a job up to my standards. So, I decided that I would do the fence work for all my jobs so that I could be sure the work met the highest of standards. I quickly realized that I loved the work, and the rest is history as they say.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential and Commercial
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Think of the questions you want to ask ahead of time and write them down so you don't forget. Then, trust your gut.
