I am a 3rd generation licensed master plumber with over 30 years of personal experience in the plumbing trade. My grandfather started Richard Plumbing in 1945 and he taught our family that taking care of the customer is number one priority. Second is to preform quality craftsmanship and how to grab a broom /mop to clean up after each job is completed.
I have a 5 star rating on yelp, home advisor and facebook. I dont use yelp or home advisor much anymore due ro their billing process.I started working in the plumbing trade full time at age 18. I received my Journeyman Plumbers License at 20 years of age. Passed and received my Masters Plumbing License at age 24. I love being able to help people and get their home back in working order with as little discomfort as possible. I'm a Master Gas pipe fitter, hold a Water Protection Backflow License from L S U . We specialize in Water and Drain Slab Leaks. Don't hesitate to call us at any time if the hour. We have always been a 24 hour 7 day a week company.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer calls we find out what kind of plumbing problem they are having. If it's an emergency were we have to get to their home quickly due to water flooding. If it's not a emergency we find out how soon they need our service and we try to work with their schedule as best as possible. Once we arrive at the home home we access the problem and give the customer the best options to take care of their plumbing needs. We also give the customer a total price to complete the job. We charge by the job and not by the hour.

We have set pricing on all of our work. We charge a specific price for our services . Every customer pays the Same price. If we pull up to a million dollar home or a 50 thousand dollar home the price is the same . The home owner is given a written quote before any work is started .
How did you get started in this business?
My Grandfather started Richard Plumbing in 1945. My father ran the company until I took it over at 20 years of age.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with every kind of customer . Most have all been a pleasure to work with. After 30 years in this trade I have learned that most customers appreciate a hard working contractor that is honest and upfront about what it's going to take to get their plumbing system back in working order .
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make sure the contractor is a licensed Plumber. How many years of experience they have with your specific plumbing needs. What the process is from start to finish. If the plumber that goes out to the home is going to be working on your job from start to finish.
