We are a custom home builder, with unique designs for our customers in mind. Since we have been in business for 33 years, experience does pay off. Our houses have been published in two National magazines, Builder/Architect magazine, featuring one of our country homes, and most recently in Southern Living Magazine, where a house we built in Odessa, TX was featured as one of the 12 finest homes.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well, with the help of Pintrest and Houzz... It makes it much eaiser to see what they are wanting.. back a few years ago I would have people make scrap books of cut out pictures of what they were wanting.. so "let the fun begin"...
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I din't get this grey beard for nothing... school of hard knocks has given me a pretty good education.. of couse the old addage of "the proof is in the puddin" still holds true, but a good understanding is better than a misunderstanding... timing is very important, when you are building a new home, so I try to keep my clients informed as to what to expect next..
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each and every job is unique, so there is NO standard in pricing.
How did you get started in this business?
I used to be in the banking industry, but when our Savings and Loan went out of business, I started selling Horse Barns, then Barndominiums, then remodeling then custom home building, so many many years of experience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types over the years, young/old, rich and Not so rich, but all have an idea in mind, and it is up to me to make thier idea's/dreams come to life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy "most" all of my projects, some take longer than others, because some time people really don't know what they want, then once you get to what they are really wanting then your over thier budget, so sometimes this is very frustrating but all in all a lot of fun to come to completion.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
NEVER GO WITH THE CHEAPEST BID !!!! (you get what you pay for,) also ask if they are insured and how many years in business and most importantly referrals.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Try to have a good idea of what your wanting your end product to look like, that is what is so unique with todays multimedia, there are millions of pictures on Pintrest, Houzz and evern Gogle to give you just about the right idea of what you trying to express to your new contractor.
