What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to have a brief phone converstaion to go over the customers thoughts on the project and set budget terms. We then come to the home and discuss the project more in depth and get yard measurements so we can begin designing the pool. We normally have one or two more meetings at the customer's home to go over designs before a final design and cost is agreed on. Construction begins soon after.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the Houston aquatic industry for 24 years. I've run, managed, built, supplied, repaired and maintained pools during that time. I am a member of the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) and National Plaster's Council (NPC) as well as a Certified Pool Operator Instructor.
How did you get started in this business?
I was in a lifeguard stand on my 15th birthday and have worked with pools in one capacity or another ever since.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research and get examples or references of past work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have a converstaion about your basic wants and allow the pro to guide you through the process to your ultimate goal.
