FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When a potential client calls my office, I am texted their information and address. At that time I will contact them to set a time for us to meet and discuss their project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Hand on Carpenter for 25 years, successful small business owner, school of hard knocks and still learning.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

each job is bid independently

How did you get started in this business?

started in landscaping and maintenance in the 90s, this led to building and installing decks, patios and outdoors structures which quickly led to our interior and exterior  remodeling services being offered in early 2004.

What types of customers have you worked with?

All types served. Not a good fit for investors as they are looking for cheap and were not the cheap guy or the most expensive.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Rise in the stock market and overall market conditions.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

interview 2-3 contractors is needed but not too many as this just gets confusing.

IF one offers a price that seems too good to be true then it is!

IF the contractor can start right away this may be a sign that the contractor is not busy , if so there is a reason for this.

After meeting your desired candidates then consider who you feel you can trust and is telling you the truth, and does not ask for a big deposit. If the price is fair , then it should be a good fit.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Budget

timeline

materials selections

and overall ideas of what they want, this will allow owner to get truly competitive bids.
