Frequently asked questions

We typically want to perform an initial service unless the customer is just switching from another company and has been getting regular service already.  This provides a thorough interior/exterior service to flush out any pests that may be in the house.  Then about 30 days later we will come back to perform the first regular service.  This allows us to break up the life cycle of bugs and kill anything that may have hatched since we were there last.  It provides for a much better result for our customers.

We are licensed through the state which is only granted after achieving the appropriate amount of classroom and field experience.  We recieve our license after passing the technician exam based on the type of pest we are getting a license for.  We also have to do continuing education each year in the classroom to maintain our license.

We have standard pricing for our services but much of it depends on the square footage of the home and the nature of the problem.  There are general pests like spiders, roaches, ants, etc.  Then there are wood destroying insects, rodents, bed bugs, etc. that require different types of treatments.  Most problems can be taken care of with a general pest treatment though.

We work with both residential and commercial clients.

The main thing to consider in hiring a professional exterminator is that you feel comfortable with their process and the products being used.  Pest control isn't just about coming out and spraying a bunch of chemicals everywhere.  The best technicians will investigate the problem, know exactly what type of pest they are dealing with, understand the conducive conditions that may be helping that pest to thrive, and then explaining the plan and process involved in getting rid of the issue.

Many people want to know if the products being used are going to be harmful to themselves, children, or pets.  It is also a good idea to ask the technician about a realistic timeframe for getting rid of the pests and what things you can do as a home or business owner to make the treatment more effective.
