Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, a new customer will contact us with a plumbing related need and our office will setup an appointment for one of our plumbers to make a site visit to provide a service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our plumbers have years of experience and are all licensed with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.
We are also extensively trained on Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters and we are recognized as a Rinnai Authorized Service Provider.
DFW Pipe & Plumbing also provides gas services and we are a Preferred Vendor with Atmos.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We have standard flat pricing for some services.
More complicated jobs require diagnostic testing such as water, sewer, or gas leak testing in order to produce estimates for needed repairs or pipe replacements.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We mainly work with residential customers. Although, we have commercial customers and we have done a small amount of municipality work such as a few schools and rec centers.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would advise customer's to ensure that the plumber onsite is licensed with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners as a Journeyman, Tradesman, or Master Plumber. The plumbing company should also have a Responsible Master Plumber and certificate of General Liability Insurance on file with the State of Texas. This can all be checked via: http://www.tsbpe.state.tx.us/
Diagnostic testing should always be done when major repairs are needed. Eye-balling a job and providing a customer with a quote in the thousands is not a good sign of a reputable plumber/company.
