Hickey Overhead Door

Hickey overhead door is a small family business that started in New Jersey by my father Mike Hickey. I worked for my father on and off Like all kids do since 13 years old. When not working for him I was always  building hot rods and classic cars. Became a mechanic and got all my certifications, kept telling myself I love hot rods and I don't love garage doors, so after got my certifications I left being a mechanic to work for my father full time. If I get burnt out from cars than i won't wanna work on them at night but not often if I get burnt out from doors will i be installing doors at my house so it's a win win. Then moved out to woodlands tx with a friend and never visited here in my life. Figured I'll come with him and if I don't like it I got a locked job at home. Got here on a Friday found a door job Saturday and started work Monday. Stayed with that company 10 years till one day On my birthday I said it's time to go on my own. I decided to keep the family business name going out here. So separate companies but still the family name. Anything you need between garage door repairs or installs commercial or residential I got you covered ( or hot rods and classic cars 😉). I don't believe in making customers buy parts that aren't needed, I like to figure out the problem completely without guessing and If I can save it without making customers purchase than I know I did my job. Times are tough for everyone right now so Id rather make less money to keep customers happy and safe. If anyone can not afford a service please do not use a broken door till you can afford it.
