Typical process in meeting with customers is giving them a free quote. I do not ask for any money upfront and I don't get paid in full until the customer is satisfied with the entire scope of work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master's degree in Project Management, Electrical license, 8yrs of construction experience, license and bonded in Texas, carry my own business insurance and all my work has a 1 year warranty.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No standard pricing however I do give a 10% discount to all military families.
How did you get started in this business?
My business got started by building my own house and fell in love with the craft.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers; residential, commercial and home owners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I'm fond of is working for a disabled person. I take great pride in assisting people with disabilities.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
My advice to all home owners is to not give any money up front, get references, get 3 quotes, always sign a contract and never go with the cheapest price bc most of the time the contractor is not a pro.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The customer should always have start and end date. Also, be upfront of what your budget is so that the pro is able to provide you with a detailed quote.
