Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we get contacted about a job, I will make an appointment to look at the job and give an estimate. If the customer wants the job done, we set up the job date then, most times it can be performed at that time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained in hunter 4 wheel alignment machines, welding, general mechanics, equipment maintenance, I am certified to do DOT inspections, etc.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We price out per hour or by the job. We really like to look at the repair needed before we quote a price. This way it’s a more accurate estimate of the repair needed. I do however typically charge a 100.00 minimum for any distance over 40 miles to cover costs if it’s a small job. I always tell that up front and never hide that fact.
How did you get started in this business?
I had an auto repair shop for several years. I wanted to do mobile repair for the convenience of my customers.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Businesses and individuals.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research and make sure you are confident in your selection of a repair facility. You should be happy and comfortable with the person performing the work as well as the repair itself. Trust is the most important thing when dealing with clients.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
cost of repair vs. replacement, how long will the repair take, how long to get parts if needed to be ordered, convenience, and qualifications of the pro.
