Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We normally call first to make an appointment. Once we measure the job and show the homeowners samples and explain how the job is done we will quote them the price. The price is usually good for 30 days.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
49 years of experience in the entire home Improvement field. Through the years I have attended many classes held by manufacturers who would show new products and new ways to install roofing and siding products.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Roofing and siding are both priced by the square foot. With roofing many other things should be checked such as chimney flashing roof venting and the amount of roofing on the roof now.
How did you get started teaching?
Just as my stepfather did before me I like to educate my customers on all the different aspects of roofing and what and why something is best for there home.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All different types from roofing or vinyl siding customers to remodeling residential or commercial.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently received a plaque from the Better Business Bureau stating that we had gone 42yrs. Without any complaints.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
i would tell them they should see how many years the company has been in business then make sure they have all the necessary state licenses and all insurances needed.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Only deal with reliable companies that have done home improvements for years that come with good recommendations and don't ask for down payment money before they do any work.
