My company is quite different from other, similar companies. Every job I design and install myself from start to finish. I do not involve other sub-contractors unless it is something out of my scope of work, for example: if a job requires electrical work. I create a custom design for each and every one of my customers that combines their ideas with my 30+ years of experience and expertise.

Became a Journeyman union carpenter, building homes and railing/staircase and deck systems.

I have just completed a custom design laundry room cubbie cabinets, walnut bench seat, entertainment center and fireplace wall panels and Walnut mantle for a customer in Prineton NJ. All pictuers can be seen on my website;

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I have designed and installed all my jobs from start to finish. This seems to work well as the customer deals with one person. I do work for many other contractors who hire me to do a part of the job and then hire others to do parts of the job. This takes longer and can lead to issues. Stick with the owner operator like myself!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Scope and size of the work. Desired materials. Pictures are a big help. I like it when the customer sends me pictures of what they have currently and what it is they would like it to look completed.
