What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would say to make sure the contractor is licensed and bonded, and to read their reviews online before schedulling with them. I also recommend getting estimates from 3 different companies before deciding on which one to choose.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Think about timing carefully if the work is involved. Think about the quality of work and materials you desire and communicate it! Remember the better it is, the more it costs and the more time it takes. Make sure to communicate your expectations in advance and make sure that they are reflected in the contract.
