Oregon Homeworks has been building quality custom homes in the greater Portland area for the past 15+ years. We specialize in new construction craftsman bungalows and foursquares, mid-century moderns and modern homes in Portland's most sought after neighborhoods and surrounding suburbs.
We offer full design/build services, including plan development and interior design, but are happy to build plans that clients have already sourced. And we accel at superior communication and outstanding customer service throughout the process.
We pride oursleves in delivering the most smartly architected and designed homes that are built the right way and provide our clients with a unique and valuable ownership experience that they, and us, can be wildly proud of.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We take extraordinary measures to create an experience that is seamless and rewarding. Our goal is to work with you to design and build a home that fits your personality, lifestyle, and budget. In our initial meeting, we will get to know each other. It's important that we learn about your family and how you live so we can tailor your living spaces to your life. Likewise, it's important for you to get comfortable with us and how we build. At this meeting, we will walk you through the entire process from concept to move-in.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our typical project operates on a fixed-price basis, which avoids unexpected cost overruns. We receive line item bids from each subcontract and supplier, and add a builder fee to arrive at a bottom line price for your new home.
How did you get started in this business?
I transitioned out of a successful career in technology to pursue my passion of architecture and design. But the foundation was laid as a small child spending hours with a bucket of Legos!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our customers have ranged from couples building their first home, families upsizing for their children, empty-nesters preparing for their retirement years, and everything in between.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Realize that the relationship you have with your builder is just as important as the plans and budget. You will be working with your builder for several months during construction, and will rely on them after you have moved in. Be sure that your styles and personalities are a good fit.
