We have a wonderful staff who, on a daily basis, gives everything they have to make sure our clients, potential clients, and past clients feel they are being treated fairly. My staff is as important to the success of the company as anything else, and they continue to prove that we are in this together.

The company started out on a very small scale focusing on small residential remodeling projects such as floor replacement, cabinet replacement and other types of residential projects. Since that time not only has the company grown in terms of size, it has also grown as far as the scope of projects it undertakes.

Hamilton Construction was created due to the success and growth of the company in the areas where we excel in the commercial building trade. These areas are foremost church restoration and general construction.
At this time, the portfolio of the company is entirely focused on commercial, church, and large-scale building projects.

With this growth and expansion, the company has been able to pursue projects of a much larger nature. Hamilton Construction has developed relationships with other trades in the central Ohio area.
The development of these professional relationships has also allowed the company to undertake more projects in a complete general contractor fashion.
This enables the company to bring in experts from different trades to complete large scale projects.

Hamilton Remodeling & Builders had the privilege of introducing alternative building techniques to the local market as well. In the spring of 2016, partnering with local media and architecture firms, the company produced the first home in the area built completely out of over- seas shipping containers.

We have been honored to receive several awards for technology, engineering and education regarding this project.

Through growth, networking, research and development Hamilton Construction and Hamilton Remodeling & Builders have proven in the past and will continue to prove that it is more than capable of completing projects that prove to be a challenge

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Initial Meeting
This is usually done in our office or in your current home. During this meeting, we gather information and any drawings you might have. This is a good time to be general about the project and to inform us of particular things you might want to include. At this time we also inquire about what budget you may have in mind, and also offer our Financing Program.

Our financing is offered through Synchrony Bank and enables you to obtain a revolving credit line to fund, or help fund your project. We are proud to offer low promotional APR’s to our clients.

Initial Proposal Planning 
During this time, we are assessing the plans you gave us along with some of the items we may have discussed during our initial meeting.
We try to assign a rough figure to see if we can meet your budgetary requirements and are able to move forward with the project.

We also allow some of our trade partners to look over the information and gather their input for pricing as well.

Project Meeting 
At this meeting, we try to present to you a rough price, address some concerns we might have with the project, and most importantly answer any questions you might have regarding our pricing and methods.

While we will give you a great deal of information at this meeting, it is actually designed to allow you to ask as many questions as is necessary to make you feel confident we have addressed all of your needs with our scope and pricing.

Contract Preparation and Execution 
If after the project meeting you feel confident with our abilities, and we are within the budget you have established, we will begin to prepare a contract for your project. This might take some time as we want to make sure that all facets of the build are contained in this contract. Also, a breakdown of pricing and draws will be established to fund the project.

Once the contract preparation is complete, you will be contacted to execute the contract and submit the initial deposit.

After these steps have been completed, the project itself will then follow its own scope and itinerary
which will be presented to you.

Hamilton Remodeling & Builders is proud to offer our clients an interactive project management program called Buildertrend. Your first experience with this program will be when you receive an email copy of your formal proposal. Upon receipt, you will have the opportunity to sign and accept the proposal online, paper free. Upon accepting the proposal, each project will then have a personal website created for you.

On this website, you can do things such as check on the status of your payments, view progress photos, communicate directly with staff, and many other features. You will be given your own personal login information. This is a wonderful way to keep the lines of communication open throughout the course of your project.

How did you get started in this business?

I began my experience in the construction industry at a young age when I was hired to work for the Diocese of Columbus as a facilities manager.
In this position, I undertook the renovation of several projects ranging from transforming a church undercroft to a meeting space, re-vamping large HVAC systems, and completely remodeling several other church interiors. This sparked a passion for the building trade I did not know was there.

My original intent was to keep this job until I was finished studying law enforcement and then move on.
Life had other plans, and while we as a company are very strong supporters of our Police, Firefighters, First Responders and Military, I am thankful that I made the decision to open the company.
