We sell service and install heating and cooling systems for residential and commercial customers in the Greater Cincinnati area. We have 24 our emergency service so we are there when you need us. We do Drug Testing and Perform Back Ground Checks so you can feel comfortable when our technicians arrive at your home or business. We have a BBB A+ Rating and have been Continuous Accredited Since 1989 so you can trust us to take good care of our customers!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we are working with a client that wants to replace their existing system we like to visit the jobsite in person. We want to make sure that the system is sized properly and that the duct system is correct also. The customer may choose to purchase a high efficiency system but it may not perform as well as it should if the air flow isn't what it should be or if the the system isn't sized correctly
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Ohio Master License (26591) and a Kentucky Master License (HM00986). To maintain my license both states require that I attend a minimum amount of Continuing Education to be able to renew my license. In addition I attend several seminars thoughout the year to make sure that we are always informed ot the latest trends and best practices in our industry.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
For service we charge a trip fee and then quote the repair up front. That way you know what the cost before we do the repair.
How did you get started in this business?
My brother Ralh, started working in the industry when he graduated from high schoool and I began in 1975 when I graduated from high school. My brother and I started Jacob Bros. Heating & Air Conditioning in1988.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of customers both Residential and Commercial. We sell service and install furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps but also provide high efficiency air filtration, humidifiers, dehumidifiers and air purifiers. In addition we also work on Geothermal Heat Pumps and Boilers.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We recently installed a Geothermal Heat Pump system. The customer was happy to know that the system would be saving them about $1,000.00 every year on their utility bill.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure that they are licensed to perform the work. It is also a good idea to make sure that they have NATE Certified Technicians on staff.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The first question that I ask customers is how long to they plan on staying in their home or business. If they are going to be there long term then I may make suggestions that will save them money over time. If they plan on moving soon then a more basic system may be a better option for them. Know the contractor they are working with. Are they insured? Are they members of ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America)? ACCA members are usually better informed as to the better industry standards
