Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We will first talk about the clients project, the scope of work and approximate budget. Then we will set up a time to meet at the project site to discuss the owners ideas in more detail.

If design ideas or services are needed we are able to provide these for a design fee.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a registered architect with over 40 years experience in designing and building residential projects of all sizes and types.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

No. Each project is priced individually.

How did you get started in this business?

I have always been in the business, learning from my father and working for myself for 35 years.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Neighbors down the street, friends, corporate CEO's, but mostly regular people who value good design and qualty workmanship.

Describe a recent project you are fond of.

We designed an addition that had a bridge connection between the existing house and the addition.

We also just completed a fully accessible addition including and bedroom and accessible bath for a veteran.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Ask plenty of questions, have an idea of what your end result should be and be realistic about construction costs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Write down what it is you want. Have plenty of photos of what it is you like as well as what you do not like.

Do not be afraid to ask questions.
