Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We explain every step of the process and help to educate the customer of what we are going to do, how and why.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 20 years experience in the plumbing and drain cleaning trade. Licensed and insured. Experience in industrial, commercial and residential plumbing, sanitary and storm drainage systems.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We offer flat rate pricing and everyone knows the price before we start the work.
How did you get started in this business?
Wanted to work with my hands and I needed a job. Fell in love with the trade after only a few months.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Homeowners, businesses, schools, churches, synagogues, government, industrial, municipal, landlords, restaurants......everyone and anyone.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We were called in to video inspect and locate approximately 600 feet of sewer lines in a factory warehouse buried under 10 feet of cement. The contractor was doing a very large addition to the building and couldn't find the drainage underground. To avoid costly jackhammering and excavation, Dr Rooter located and marked out the entire drainage system there for saving the warehouse thousands of dollars in unneeded costs. This is only one of hundreds of different types of jobs Dr Rooter performs everyday. We do it all from clogged toilets and leaky pipes to high pressure water jetting and video inspections.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find out who exactly is doing the work and how they plan on doing it. And if they won't tell you a price at least ask for a ballpark. If they won't give you one then don't hire them.
