Before you are to hire anyone please follow these easy steps:
1) prepare a statement of work - what do you need to get done.
2) specify how much time you can give contractor.
3) specify payment terms for the job.
4) specify material you want to use.
5) always compete your projects by getting at least 3 quotes.
6) request written warranty for the work.
7) request references and check business standing with licensing agencies - never work with those who do not have a license.
