What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Walk job, gather clients ideas desires based on budget, share ideas and costs based on what is wanted, write up an estimate with pictures and examples of end goal and finished project. Collect deposit, start work and finish within a week depending upon extent of work but we start fast and finish fast so we don’t play games and we are 3rd Generation Military and Law Enforcement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
35 years of Hands On Construction Experience with a (B) GC License in Four (4) States, Two (2) Bachelor Degrees, Six (6) past Dream Project Award qualifiers (Top-10 Re-Model Projects - SoCal - $10k to $50k) 1992-2017.

We bid on the job as a whole but if the work has unknowns that won’t be revealed until floors are removed or walls opened up it would be Time & Materials with an upfront quote.
How did you get started in this business?
With my Father at age 8 building Pools, Spas, home remodels, room additions, remodels, framing, drywall, paint, and Custom Finish work. At age 16 started framing & supervising Pool & Spa Construction and at 19 built my first Pool, Spa, and backyard project. At age 27 I built my first custom home with Pool & Spa for $280k and flipped it for $415k.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly word of mouth and referrals, in 32 years in Las Vegas we have NEVER had a dissatisfied customer and usually have to turn down work and jobs as we only do a couple projects at a time and we are perfectionists and don’t finish a job until it is right.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Took a large backyard that was a jungle, and mess and turned it into the homeowners Dream Backyard with ZERO maintenance needed and then converted a loft area into a 4th Bedroom with very challenging angles and limited space.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
HIRE AMERICAN and VETERANS over ILLEGALS…get no less than (3) WRITTEN quotes, GET PROOF of INSURANCE of atleast $1 Million General Liability. Confirm each Contractors Business Address and Contact Information with NO LESS THAN THREE (3) REFERENCES. Pay no more than 50% upfront, balance when each Phase or Project is 100% complete. Supply your own material if possible (Flooring, appliances, equipment, etc…)
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is my Budget? What is my goal and/or dream vs. my budget? When can I start and when do I need it finished? What hours and days can the work be performed? Do I need to pull permits for the work or not? Does the Pro carry a License, Insurance, and a Bond or Guarantee (if a larger project)? What have atleast three (3) of the Pro’s references said about the Pro’s work and guarantee?
