Do some research and make sure the movers are licensed, Insured and reputable.

Are the movers licensed and insured? Are they a real Moving company or Brokers? Do they have a real physical location? What are other customers saying about them? What type of services do you need? Will you pack yourself or have the moving company pack for you? What items must be moved without exception? Are there items that you are not sure about moving? How would adding/removing items from the inventory affect the cost?
