We recreated a bathroom removing a bathtub in a small bathroom, enlarged it and created a free form shower that the individual could roll in with his wheelchair with no obstructions.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Customers should be open minded and not have preset thoughts of what should be done. They should think about future needs in addition to what is needed today
