What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with home owners, contractors, builders, designers etc... We can simply supply materials or offer materials and installation.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always enjoy helping people see their vision. Many times people come in unsure of what they want. I feel them them out and help them find the materials that speak to them or suit their needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Many contractors claim to be tile installers. If they only tile occasionally, there is a difference between someone who does it routinely and occassionally. Make sure they are insured and have references. Ask what waterproofing system(s) they use for showers. Always get multiple quotes. The lowest price is not always the best choice.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Think about your style and what you like. Have a vision in mind if possible. Consider the overall style of your home. Rustic stylings don't fit with modern architecture and so on. Have fun with choosing your style. decide if this is a transitional home or your forever home. If you plan to sell in the near future, keep choices moderate. If it's your forever home, pick what you like. let your selections speak to you and don't worry what other people think. Your home should be a reflection of you.
