Stanger Pool And Spa
About
Being able to build what you have in mind! I have done many projects that clients want to feel like they are on vacation in their own back yard. This means outdoor kitchens, bar area, grilling, smoking foods that smell so good your neighbors want to come over as well! I build projects that you can control from your iPhone or droid, while still at work or on your way home! For instance adjusting your pool heater temperature to a warmer or colder setting during these summer months! Turning the deck jets on and hearing the sound of water hitting the pool and adjusting the color of your LED Lights to a blue, green, magenta or letting it scroll through all the colors for the mood you are in! Putting an autocover on your pool for safety by the touch of a switch! Adding a lounge area to your walk in steps while the bubbler jets splash right beside you while reading a book! Mainly to become so comfortable in your low maintenance SALT WATER 💦 pool..It also has 37 light shows based on your party! So in short I am an expert in building projects to suit your needs. Salt water pools are far less harsh on your skin , your clothing won't fade or discoloration is not a factor for your hair either! You won't need ph up , ph down, softeners and the amount of naturally produced chlorine generator will be set 1-3 ppm to maintain your Sanitizer. You will notice you do not smell like chlorine getting out of your pool! Call steve for an appointment 4024904600!
I build all types of pools and will give you solid facts of what will best suit your family needs and wants! I will give you the correct answers to why different equipment is more efficient for the type of season you want to have! I can extend you pool season 2 months longer than a client with the wrong type of heater installed. I can switch your existing pool over to a more natural pool saving you a lot of money! I can add a water slide or a set of fountains, or a waterfall to your existing pool! I can rough in the lines for a new pool build for future plans you might want!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out what interest their family needs are and match a pool size and proper dimensions to fit within their boundaries and legal easements allowed by the state of Nebraska, have qualified licensed, plumber and electrician suited for the job at hand. Get a proposal written up and once they sign and agree with a down payment and agree to these terms and working conditions, meaning weather and any delays that are not in our control then we can get you on a list or calendar for an approximate start date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a builder in vocational school, achieved my license and certifications and have taken ongoing education to keep up with current rules, regulations and to abide by the inspections set forth to build these projects and have them inspected to show the clients and state of nebraska it is built properly to meet code! Engineers approve my drawings and paperwork I submit to obtain my permits and legals to start to build your project! Thank you Steve
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
There are more accurate ways to provide the bid or quote that I will get to you since every project is different! I look forward to getting a quote for your project and meeting the needs of your family, based on the children you have , grandkids and your parents with proper handrails, ladders or in wall custom stepf with a lounge area just to dangle your feet over the edge for a very relaxing feeling of enjoyment. I can build you a soothing waterfall for the sight n sound of relaxation for you!
How did you get started in this business?
I almost drowned as a child and I made a promise to myself to build the safest pool possible to never let happen to me to anyone else! I really like building projects to watch peoples faces smile and jump in as the client that just sent me this picture in a text message thanking me for the hard work I did for this moment in your life. Again I'm glad I get this opportunity to do what I live to build and share this with you! Thank you , Steve Stanger 4024904600
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types, Dr's, Engineers, Nurses,Architects,Lawyers, Grand parents who wanna watch their kids and grandkids playing in something they never could afford growing up! The average person in a grocery store who has saved up enough to build one for themselves! To the contractors who I work next to on my own projects that now want me to build them a pool, because of the quality work and the passed inspections needed by the work done to meet code for your family and friends safety.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Each project is unique, so in saying that buying custom pavers that are special made yo change colors on a overcast day or sunny day look like a completely different deck is really cool. Building a custom slide I designed to go through boulders is very fun to ride down into a salt water pool.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure your builder is a true builder. What work does he or she actually do? How many years have you been building with your license? Not the tears you worked for another company!! That tells you he was a worker and did certain task, but now tells you he has been doing this a long time is not true years as an owner operator! Through Covid I now have so many pools I am fixing or inspections that were not passed or approved... new clients that are very upset with their builder who did not finish the project properly or never passed final inspection! Now they will not answer their phone when a problem arised ! Are they licensed as am expert witness to help a family or client to be legally on a stand in a courtroom because they are an expert in building? I am! I have done many cases to help others and I appreciate your call to use my company and expertise to build your dream! Thank you for reading Steve Stanger
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1) your Budget! 2) your specific items that meets your family needs, or future items you cannot afford at this time of signing. 3) Be prepared for your yard yo be torn up and a mess from start to finish. 4) you may not get all your items you wanted based on the worlds, work force, nobody can guarantee all items in a timely fashion, because of out of stocks or delays out of our control. 5) Once you sign your contract and pay your down payment does not give you the right to constantly call or email or text message on your inability to understand how a contractor is building your project or what's expected next! 6) we don't call you or text you on what you do all day so don't do that to your contractor! 7) When you call , text, or send an email to a therapist or Dr. Or an Attorney they charge from $250- $700 an hour to discuss any thing you ask, no matter what! We are not paid after we sign with you to spend countless minutes or messages of any form to answer any more questions you discussed before signing to do your project. You are just slowing us down and stopping us from work because you are curious! Really don't! It's not funny and it is annoying to repeat what we already discussed. Not only that but now we wonder if I told you once already face yo face why you are asking again, that's a red flag, it means to a contractor that you were not listening or you can't comprehend what was said to you? The contractor is not going to explain to you how he is going to build this project, he learned that many years ago and was trained how to and is certified in his work. He can never explain to you what he has learned in 40 plus years to you in a 2-3 sentence in a text message or email!! 8) If you have a change order you decide during the project you send a message to your contractor and let him or her know that you are curious if a change order is possible this far into the project and what delay will this cause if we do that! 9) Change order can stop all current work, because of this delay! Remember you now caused the delay not the builder! So think hard before you sign a contract and be a responsible party to your decisions! If it's a color change to the concrete work being done, that's a simple change order and a check written in full for your change order it's not free. That will be signed by a separate change order and paid in full for what you now want! 10) a start date and finish date or highly unlikely to hit an exact date, any where in the world during this time and the last 2 years was not good for the world let alone a builder contractor, so don't yell at them about the inability's to believe you are different than anyone else in the world! 11) so be prepared for delays and changes not in our hands. 12) you can pray or ask God why he made it rain or make the weather too hot to work in because your employees are dehydrated, and cannot work a full day! I wish you well. I have been doing this for many years, and have never experienced what we all have just gone through, and we all hope it gets better and production of products and supplies come back to a somewhat normal level of planning for all of us to do projects together. I hope thes statements help you in your planning your project. I look forward to meeting you and working with you! Steve Stanger 4024904600
