What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do Conceptual Design in a Single Session for a Flat Fee. I charge the same regardless of scope of the problem. In the Consulting meeting, I will make a proportionally correct hand drawing of the existing conditions. I then use that to draw the homeowner(s) into the design process, modifying as I go, keeping ease of construction costs, creating an efficent flow throughout the home. I pay attention to views from where you are. My pratice is 42 years old and by this time, I know what I am doing!
