What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Myself (owner) will come out for an on-site estimte - gather details - discuss the poject - in some cases offer an onsite price estimate - in most cases return an emailed detailed estimate same day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years of management training and positions held. Worked under a general contractor for 3 years before branching off on my own to start Raleigh Home Remodeling. Hold a Associate of Arts degree in computer science as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No real standard as our projects do widely vary from 3-season room building - to painting and hardwood refinishing.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked under a general contractor as a helper for a few years before branching out on my own.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Multiple types - real estate agents - clients purchasing and selling homes - investors - homeowners - other contractors.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Reach out to references, at least two. Make sure they are insured and understand that just going with the lowest priced estimate is not always the best call.
