Comfort Master was started by Tommy and Fay Brown in 1994. They had a vision to serve customers and make a difference. To this day, they are committed to building trusting relationships through honesty with each customer and provide 100% customer satisfaction.

Describe a recent project you are fond of.
A recent customer had a heat pump with ductwork in his home. He wanted to look at something different. We designed and installed Mitsubishi (ductless) mini-split systems that gave him a lot more control over temperatures in different areas. Added to that, this system is whisper quiet and is very efficient. His comment was that when it was time to replace the second floor system, he would use the new application.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Energy star provide a great reference for what to look for when selecting an HVAC provider:
1) is your contractor licensed? 2) Can they provide examples of quality installations? 3) Did they use a quality installation checklist? 4) Will they test air flow? 5) Will they verify refrigerant charge 6) Will they evaluate the duct system for leakage 7) Did they do load calcs and properly size for the equipment selection
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers should: check BBB listing / ratings & online reviews, look at the company website, confirm they do upfront pricing, offer financing, are licensed and insured, employees are background checked and drug tested, ask if they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, provide detailed proposals.
