Hello my name is Sarah L Yoder and I own and operate Sly Construction LLC. I've been in the construction trade for almost 15 years now specializing in drywall, paint, home repair, carpentry, pressure washing, landscaping, plumbing, light electrical,mulching services, and handyman work. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first interact with a new potential customer, the first thing we need to do is an estimate and I don't like to do estimates over the phone I prefer to come to the customer's house take a look, meet the customer and shake their hand. I like to let them tell me from their perspective, not through a text or computer, exactly what they're looking for with their project. I think human to human interaction is always the best. It gives us both the sense of who the other is and what the expectations are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years experience in the construction trade all around. I have 3 years doing flooring only, I have 5 years doing strictly drywall, painting and pressure washi g, and I have several years doing fencing, carpentry and handywoman work. I also worked as a punchlister for several years doing punch work for realty companies and apartment complexes. I have been educated by some of the best contractors in charlotte by working with them. I am still learning everyday as is everyone else. There's always a newer, cooler way to do something and I'm always open to learning.
