Amazing work with glass tile! Very friendly, patient, perfectionist! Offered great suggestions. John’s attention to detail is outstanding. Our kitchen has so many imperfections in regards leveling between cabinets, window, counters, when working with unique glass tile shapes John made it work! Always on time and ready with a great attitude the take on the challenge.

John was extremely patient even during our initial meetings when we were wavering on making design decisions. We even ended up changing the whole scope due to the delays caused by the pandemic, but John just continued to be understanding and flexible. John and his team always arrived as scheduled and did an EXCELLENT job installing our flooring, outlets, storm door, and light fixtures. We’ve been given many compliments on the quality of their work and have zero issues. I highly recommend John Cox Co to anyone looking for any type of home improvements or repairs, large or small. He’s someone you that can trust, won’t overcharge, is reliable, and will do quality work.

I had a large tile job covering three entire kitchen walls top to bottom in glass subway tile. John and his assistant left me with a clean, perfect tile job, on time and on budget. My Central West End condo was built in 1910, and John was able to make tiny adjustments throughout to account for the uneven floors, ceiling and counters found in an older home. The 1/16 inch grout looks amazing. I could not have asked for a better job.

How did you get started in this business?

Building Countertops.  I love wood and enjoy creating exquisite products that are unique to each person into their homes.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Our customers range from people simply looking for a repair to full blown remodels, replacing everything.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Think about why you are doing this project.  Are you giving a home a facelift for renting.  Are you dressing up the home for resale.  Is it your forever home that you will want to add value too, because you want to enjoy the rewards of higher quality.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Budget.  That's the number one issue with any project.  All projects are different in their own way.  But the one thing they all have in common is a Budget.
